A GIVEAWAY ABOUT GIVING BACK
Villa Veintiséis has always been a labor of love. Owners, Melissa & David Robinson, always planned on Villa Veintiséis to be more than an event venue. From their first visit to the garden, they dreamed of creating a space that inspires peace of mind, creativity and community connection. In an effort to give back to the community that has embraced them, Villa Veintiséis hosted a special giveaway for the venue’s First Anniversary.
In the giveaway, we offered one lucky winner an 8-hour venue rental for a special event. Specifically, we asked people to nominate members of our community who are in need, and may not have been able to host an event otherwise. We received hundreds of entries and heartfelt nominations. Nominated by a coworker, our winner, Natalia Wong, is the Director at The WOW Center of Miami, an Adult Day Training center dedicated to empowering adults with developmental disabilities.
About The Wow Center
The WOW Center was organized in the 1970s by a small group of parents of children with developmental disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, spina bifida). The WOW Center was created to help these families and enable the individuals with opportunities to continue learning and developing skills.
The WOW Center supports and serves over 200 adults with developmental disabilities in the Miami-Dade area, offering support, guidance and encouragement regarding their personal choices, abilities, growth and ultimately, independence. The team at Villa Veintiséis was thrilled to be able to give something back to an organization that does such great work for individuals in need of support in our community.
A Charity Event By a Giving Community
On December 14, The WOW Center families were welcomed into the garden for a holiday celebration with all the fixin’s. Many local sponsors and vendors donated their time and services to this heartwarming charity event. Impressed Events decked out the garden with holiday decorations, a stunning wintery tablescape and a special Christmas photo spot. We also brought our 360 photo booth to the event for fun family photos in the garden. During the event, the WOW Center families enjoyed music by Miami Sound Pros while crafting take-home floral bouquets at the flower bar provided by Ribiero Events. Plus, the festivities also featured a caricature artist, Graffiti Pop Events, creating beautiful family portraits for event attendees.
These vendors pulled out all the stops for this holiday charity event, and we couldn’t be more grateful. It came together beautifully and gave The WOW Center an opportunity they wouldn’t have been able to provide to their families otherwise.

More giveaways in 2023!
We hope to give back to our community even more in 2023. We will be keeping our giveaway entry form open for nominations year-round, and plan to pick a winner every few months.
