Garden Micro-Wedding Ceremony & Brunch in Miami
Planning a Miami wedding on a budget is no easy feat. The team at Villa Veintiséis crafted a garden brunch wedding package specifically for couples seeking an intimate and beautiful micro-wedding on a budget. With a background in event planning, the Villa Veintiséis team will help with the wedding planning process, design the wedding aesthetic and execute the décor elements for your wedding. The micro-wedding package includes ceremony arch florals and seating, but the real value comes with the brunch reception. Villa Veintiséis provides chairs, tables, linens, table décor/centerpieces, and florals. We are thrilled to offer our expertise when you book this micro-wedding package with our venue.
One couple that took advantage of this package in December was Emily and Fernando. Their cozy and bright garden brunch wedding came together beautifully, with the help of a very organized bride with a vision.

Creating a Wedding Mood Board
Many brides have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. It can be the perfect tool for visualizing your wedding but has many pitfalls too. It’s easy to get carried away when planning your wedding and set unrealistic expectations much higher than your budget will allow. The best way to use Pinterest for wedding planning is for deriving inspiration.
The bride used Pinterest to produce a wedding mood board and referred to it as a loose guide throughout the planning process. Crafting a mood board helps to define your wedding aesthetic while allowing for flexibility and changes based on budget and accessibility. Her mood board clearly indicated a bright color scheme, a playful aesthetic, and warm undertones throughout. With such a well-crafted wedding mood board, it was easy to plan her garden brunch wedding ceremony and reception. From the flower choices and centerpiece design to the seating and stationary, the tone and energy translated perfectly from her wedding mood board.
Garden Brunch Wedding Details
The only thing small about this micro-wedding was the guest list. Having invited only 20 guests, Emily and Fernando were able to focus on making this day special in ways that mattered most to them. The beauty is in all the details for this garden brunch wedding. Photos of the couple were sprinkled throughout the venue, surrounded by bright florals that perfectly accented the grounds at Villa Veintiséis.
Creating a Wedding Color Palette & Custom Illustrations
The bride, Emily, is a Miami-based graphic designer and used her skill to not only visualize the aesthetic for her wedding but to also design all the signage, menus and seating cards. She collaborated with illustrator, Cid Mendez, to design a custom illustration set and color palette that was carried through all printed materials. The minimalistic line drawings of palm fronds and flamingos gave a nod to the culture of Miami as well as the tropical garden venue.
The unique color palette paired with the natural wooden seating and bar, set to the lush green garden backdrop made for a picture-perfect ceremony and reception.
Miami-Themed Wedding Favors
What’s more Miami than cafecitos? This couple gave their guests a favor they will use for a lifetime – custom espresso cups. Each guest received a white espresso cup with a custom wedding illustration on it. Being able to give your guests an extra special and meaningful favor is yet another benefit to having a smaller micro-wedding.
Benefits of a morning garden brunch wedding
When it comes to wedding planning, everyone knows Saturdays are always more expensive across the board for all wedding-related services. Weekends are always higher in demand, specifically weekend evenings. When you plan a morning micro-wedding, you’re not only saving with a smaller guest list but you’re also giving vendors the chance to provide their services outside of their busiest timeframes. This should obviously help you shave some costs, but there are other ways you can benefit from having a brunch micro-wedding too.
Having a brunch wedding means you don’t have to spend most of your wedding day preparing for it. You skip to the good part early – having a morning brunch wedding means your prep time is shorter and your celebration time is longer and more relaxed. You can focus on intentional and curated wedding elements that speak most to you. This couple wanted their family and faith to be an important part of their wedding. Having a morning brunch wedding gave them the chance to share a sentimental and unique experience closely with their loved ones.
