Mother'S Day Photoshoot Turned Private Proposal Photoshoot
In 2022, Villa Veintiséis hosted Provoke Photography for their annual Mommy & Me Mother’s Day photo sessions. Several families captured sweet moments throughout the garden in honor of the holiday. One family in particular left with an unforgettable memory and perfect photos capturing a new milestone in their story.
Aubree Hibbe visited Villa Veintiséis expecting to take a few family photos with her absolutely adorable son. Helena of Provoke Photography decorated the Villa’s front porch with hanging flowers, creating a beautiful backdrop for the Mommy & Me photo sessions. Aubree’s photo session started off no different than the other photo sessions that day. She posed with her son on the porch and throughout the South Florida botanical garden estate. Little did she know that her partner, Harrison, coordinated a private proposal photoshoot with Provoke Photography.
The Secret Signal
There was nothing unusual in the photographer’s prompts during this photoshoot. The session progressed from Mommy & Me photos to posed family shots – from “The Simba” pose to prom-ish family cuteness. The family fur baby even joined them for group photos. It was a memorable photoshoot as-is; a cheerful family having fun on a beautiful day with the whole garden to explore.
The photographer, Helena, and Harrison had agreed to a secret signal between them. Once Helena prompted Aubree to stand in the forefront of the shot while Harrison and their son stood behind her, the time had come. Provoke Photography even captured the moment Harrison gave her the thumbs up to prompt Aubree to turn around. He was ready to pop the question in this picture-perfect spot.

The Moment, The Milestone
Harrison proposed to Aubree in the most private space in our garden. Surrounded by greenery and framed perfectly by our rustic triangular archway, Harrison kneeled with his son in his arms and asked Aubree to marry him. All the while, Provoke Photography captured the heartwarming series of events in these unforgettable photos. From the moment she realized what was happening, to saying yes and putting the ring on her finger, each special moment was caught on camera during this private proposal photoshoot. We will never forget this photo session. In fact, this picture-perfect private proposal photoshoot was the first proposal to take place in our garden.
